GlobalGiving is a charity fundraising website that gives social entrepreneurs and nonprofits from anywhere in the world a chance to raise the money that they need to improve their communities. Since 2002, GlobalGiving has raised over $284million from nearly 680,000 donors who have supported nearly 18,000 projects.
GlobalGiving does incredible work to connect millions of donors to projects that matter on the ground. The digital team wanted a digital checkup to make sure their Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and SEO content strategies were working properly in achieving their goals. In addition to evaluation, they were interested in getting new ideas and recommendations for how to improve their digital strategy.
What we did
In 2015, Whole Whale worked on a short project with the GlobalGiving digital team to analyze all web, SEO, and AdWords data to create larger insight reports. These reports uncovered several opportunities and offered concrete recommendations and action steps to take. We were able to present these findings and answer questions from various team members so that they could confidently share the findings and incorporate them into ongoing and future web work.
