A collaborative problem solver, Koby brings an analytical and creative spirit to content and website strategy. Specializing in search engine optimization (SEO), Koby helps nonprofits broaden awareness and reach more supporters through search engines like Google, Bing, and Yahoo.
Koby began working with SEO by taking lead on a new website for a nonprofit software company and more than doubling website growth year-over-year. He has written high-ranking content pieces on websites like Kindful, OneCause, and G2. Koby has also consulted with businesses and nonprofits on best practices for content and website management.
As the SEO Manager at Whole Whale, Koby works with nonprofit and social impact clients to grow their online presence. He guides clients through technical audits of their website, on and off-page optimization best practices, and content strategy.
Koby resides in Nashville, TN, home of his alma mater, Belmont University. He wrote an undergraduate thesis on the history and impact of religious congregations in the gentrifying neighborhoods of Edgehill, Germantown, and East Nashville. He stays connected with community development conversations in Nashville through organizations like the Civic Design Center, Nashville Organized for Action and Hope, and Harvest Hands Community Development Corporation.
When he’s not in front of a computer, Koby enjoys exploring Nashville’s coffee shops and breweries, seeing exhibits at Frist Art Museum, and walking his dog, Helen, at Fair Park.
