Laura is a Northern California transplant passionate about public health, creative social change, data, design, and how they all interact to create a happier, healthier, more sustainable society.
Before working at Whole Whale, Laura worked at TMI Agency (housed within DoSomething.org) managing and analyzing the health data from a teen research panel for a Fortune 500 company. While receiving her B.S. in Public Health from NYU, Laura spent her final year researching health disparities in the U.S.- Mexico border region, while also working as a Research Data Associate at NYU Medical Center.
Laura is an expert in setting up analytics, mapping out digital impact, training capacity into top nonprofits, and managing client relationships. In her time at Whole Whale, Laura has helped improve the impact of organizations that include the Malala Fund, Planned Parenthood, Donate Life America, Johns Hopkins University’s Bloomberg School of Public Health, the USO, and many others. She is a regular writer and speaker on nonprofit issues, most recently appearing at the NYC Drupal Camp at the United Nations and leading a Google Analytics course for TechSoup. Laura is Google Analytics and Google Ads certified.
