Founded in 1991, DREAM’s mission is to provide inner-city youth with opportunities to Play, Learn, and Grow. DREAM uses the power of teams to coach, teach, and inspire youth to recognize their potential and realize their dreams.
DREAM was undergoing a few exciting changes when they reached out to us: expanding beyond Harlem, and rebranding their organization. Once the formerly Harlem RBI decided on their new name, DREAM, they needed a website that would reflect these exciting changes and make it easy for their diverse stakeholders — families, volunteers, staff and donors — to find exactly what they need.
What We Did
Previously, DREAM had two separate websites: one for after-school programs, and another for the charter school. We designed a new information architecture that consolidated the two sites to enhance brand consistency, while paving the way for clear navigations of each user path. We also set up enrollment and corporate sponsorship tracking, so that the DREAM team could easily identify and analyze the key actions that influenced the organization’s KPIs. Our holistic approach ensured that Google Analytics, SEO, AdWords, and website management were also seamlessly migrated during the site relaunch.
The new website has seen a 60% growth in website users in its first year.
