A member of The Charity Network, Prizeo is an app with a social mission to maximize the fundraising potential of influencers, companies, and charities. Prizeo hosts sweepstakes for awesome experiences, and the proceeds go to nonprofits and charities. With automatic entry available at the basic $10 level, everyone has the chance to win big and make a difference.
Prizeo is a high-traffic platform with rich user engagement. They needed to be sure that all data was being captured, and that it was all insightful. Prizeo also wanted to analyze the traffic that was coming to their site and craft strategies to increase engaged traffic across sources.
What we did
Over the course of 2 months, Whole Whale worked closely with the digital team to implement advanced analytics tracking and to optimize their email marketing strategy.
Google Analytics + Mixpanel
This work emphasized digital goal setting, dashboards and custom reports set up through Google Analytics and Mixpanel. We helped the team learn more about advanced goal attribution and streamlined analytics reporting to better understand the relationship of traffic to impact.
Whole Whale conducted a historical email analysis on MailChimp and Mailgun to determine what messaging works best at converting users into donors. In that process, Whole Whale also set up better segmentation in MailChimp to improve content personalization, targeting, and cross-campaign participation.
Throughout the project, Whole Whale was on hand to answer any digital strategy questions. Additionally, Whole Whale conducted audits on Prizeo’s social media platforms, analyzing what works on Facebook and Twitter, and outlining a clear editorial schedule for promoting sweepstakes.
