As an Account Manager, Shannon supports the Whole Whale team by managing projects and connecting with clients.
While earning a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a public relations certificate from Boise State University, Shannon worked with nonprofits to improve their marketing/PR efforts and realized she loved working in the public sector. Shannon then completed a master’s degree in public administration from NC State University with a nonprofit emphasis.
Shannon has worked on development/communications teams at a youth organization for girls, an autism organization, a rural economic development center, and a food bank. She specialized in grant writing, grants management, donor databases and analysis, and fundraising campaigns.
In her free time, she enjoys reading fantasy novels, listening to crime podcasts, walking her dog Dora, and traveling.
