Digital Advertising Associate

As a Digital Advertising Associate, Akai works with Whole Whale’s advertising team to strategize and execute successful campaigns and Google Ad Grant accounts for our clients. She’s passionate about optimizing resources and tactics in order to generate the most impact for the incredible organizations we work with.

Akai pursued her BA in Theatre at the University of Southern California, where she cultivated her love of acting and filmmaking. She spent much of her time outside of class working on student and professional projects and also served as Philanthropy Chair for her professional fraternity, promoting volunteer opportunities for her fellow members to participate in. Before joining WW’s team, Akai worked as a freelance production assistant, and although filmmaking will always be a passion, she’s more excited than ever to devote her time towards amplifying the reach of mission-driven companies at Whole Whale. 

Outside of work, Akai enjoys writing, exercising, and diving deep into permaculture techniques for her future homestead.
